Caterina Mongillo, the designer behind Metagirl Studio, is known for customising sneakers, transforming them into surreal, jewel-like creations. Distinctly ethereal, her first footwear collaboration reimagines the Saucony ProGrid Paramount through a hyper-feminine and poetic lens. The 'Daughter of the Moon' release draws inspiration from ancient mythologies that link pearls to lightning and lunar energy. Uppers feature breathable mesh underlays, metallic silver leather overlays, and sheer organza trim along the eyestays. Midsoles carry a textured sand-like finish, while the hand-sculpted, 3D-printed heel counter nods to pearl mythology.
