With its beginnings almost three centuries ago, you would be right in thinking that Birkenstock has been honing its craft for a long time. The brand responsible for some of the comfiest footwear on the market, it was started by Johann Adam Birkenstock in 1774, going on to supply comfort-boosting footbeds and arch supports, before branching into footwear. It’s of little surprise that the label is now renowned for its vast range of sandals, shoes, and mules amongst many others, all maintaining that same underfoot support and unparalleled comfort.
