Nike Cortez

The importance of the Nike Cortez can’t be overstated. It is the silhouette which started it all for the Beaverton label, first released in ’72 as a runner and marking the beginning of what is now one of the most influential and recognisable sportswear labels on the planet. The silhouette was the brainchild of Bill Bowerman, and was the first shoe to sport the now infamous Swoosh logo. Today, there have been countless iterations and revamps of the model, with its running heritage and mass lifestyle appeal making it a firm favourite to this day.
