The concept began with a personal memento, Aminé's customised 'Wood Cookie' from the state-funded programme, which he discovered still hanging in his childhood bedroom. Dressed in brown hues, the 992 layers a breathable mesh with panels of patent leather, luxe suede and smoother leather across the upper. Custom Outdoor School and Club Banana branding adds a personal touch, while underfoot, a white-and-cream midsole is supported by an Ndurance outsole that adds a splash of colour to the otherwise muted palette.
