For UK customers, PayPal Credit lets you buy all the latest looks now, but spread the cost over monthly instalments. It’s a quick and easy process that lets you shop now and pay later, on orders over £99.
Before you apply, please make sure you:
• Are a UK resident aged 18 years or older
• Have a good credit history
• Have not recently been declared bankrupt
• Are employed and have an income greater than £7,500 per year
What Is PayPal Credit?
Letting you spread the cost of online orders, PayPal Credit is a simple and flexible credit limit that’s attached to your usual PayPal account.
Alongside your PayPal account, PayPal Credit lets you view your balance, manage payments and check monthly statements online. You don’t have to fill out a long application, just answer some quick questions, review and accept the terms, then get a decision in seconds.
PayPal Credit offers the following instalment options when buying from Footpatrol:

For example, if you buy something that costs £250 and repay over 6 months at 0.0% p.a., your instalments would be £41.66 each month. The total payable amount will be £250.
How does PayPal Credit work for future purchases?
If you’re approved for a credit limit with PayPal Credit, you can use it to pay for your Footpatrol order, as well as future purchases from Footpatrol and other retailers, until the limit is reached.
Footpatrol orders currently qualify for a special interest rate of 0.0% when you spend £250 or more and repay in 6 monthly instalments. As shown in the representative example below, the typical cost if you buy from somewhere else is 19.9% APR variable. PayPal Credit sometimes makes special offers or promotions when the interest rate might be lower.
It’s really easy. You can apply for PayPal Credit directly from your basket or via the checkout.
This will take you to PayPal Credit's application page where you can start the process of applying for PayPal Credit.
The application shouldn’t take any more than 10 minutes to finish. Once it’s done, you’ll be redirected back to Footpatrol to finish up your transaction.
Do you need to have a PayPal account?
Yes. Once you’ve chosen the PayPal Credit payment option, you’ll be directed to the PayPal website. It’s a PayPal Credit requirement that you login to your PayPal account or create an account at that point.
What do I do if I am unsuccessful in applying for PayPal Credit?
Unfortunately, we have no control over the success or decline of an application – this is all PayPal’s decision. If you’ve been declined, PayPal will email you with information about why your application was unsuccessful.
Don’t worry, although you weren’t approved for PayPal Credit, you can still use PayPal to check out securely with your bank account, debit or credit card.
I do not see PayPal Credit as a payment option?
Check that you’ve reached the minimum spend of £99 on products that are eligible for credit.

Can I make a phone order and apply for PayPal Credit?
Sorry, no. The application for PayPal Credit only works on online orders.
