As 2017’s Nike Air Max Day draws closer, we take a look at fashion designer, TEAMFP member & Nike #VoteForward Revolutionair participant, Alexandra Hackett also known as @miniswoosh’s London studio…

We headed over to Hackett’s studio in East London to find out more about her design entry. As a self confessed Nike fanatic, Hackett’s studio is filled with all things Nike - from rolls of Air Max tape as seen on the Air Max 97 ‘Silver Bullet’, to a bespoke Nike branded Gillet constructed from a Nike duffle bag.

Hackett reveals that she is not one to shy away from pushing the boundaries in fashion design, constructing finished pieces from various Nike accessories like their Cotton Cushion Crew socks or Air Max Zero swing tags. Hackett mentions that she wanted to apply this same train of thought to her Air Max design.

The ‘Air Miniswoosh’ combines nine of Nike’s most highly revered Air Max silhouettes (Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Air Max 180, Air Max 93, Air Max 95, Air Max 97, Air Max Plus, Air Max 360 and the Air Max 2015), something in which only a true ‘Nike-head’ could envision and execute so well…

We’re rooting for Hackett in this amazing opportunity and want YOU to do so too! To show your support for our fellow TEAMFP member and outright boss-lady, please vote for Hackett’s Air Miniswoosh design by clicking here
