Air Jordan XIV "Last Shot" | Now Available

The Air Jordan XIV was released in October 1998 and designed by Tinker Hatfield. By this point, Hatfield designed many famed Air Jordan models in which Michel Jordan accomplished a slew of team and personal achievements prior.

The original colourway to release was White and Varsity Red, however, it was the Black and Varsity Red colourway that released in 1999 which garnered popularity. Initially, the actual version MJ wore was a prototype on the road to winning the 1998-1999 NBA Championship from the second half of Game 5 onwards.

Dubbed the "Last Shot", the iconic story behind this moniker was deserved. Against Utah Jazz in the Finals, Chicago Bulls were trailing most of the game until the last minutes of the 4th quarter in which Bulls cut down the lead to 1 point with MJ playing a huge part. The defining moment, Jordan strips Karl Malone of possession and evades Bryon Russell to shoot a 20ft jumpshot to overthrow Jazz off the lead. This proved to be Michael Jordan's very last shot of his Chicago Bulls career sealing a 6th NBA Title and his 6th Finals MVP.

The Air Jordan 14 was vehicular inspired and featured a sole with bite. The "Last Shot" silhouette dons a predominantly black upper with a mixture of premium leather and nubuck. Hits of Varsity Red on the tongue, Jumpman logo on the heel, before the toe area and carbon fibre shank plates that served as a nod of side vents from Italian cars. Lastly, the AJ14 features a sleek Jumpman emblem that emphasizes the notion of speed and luxury.

Air Jordan 14 ‘Last Shot’ is now available online . Sizes range from UK6 - UK12 (including half sizes), priced at £165.
